Alfredo Alvarado graduated from Frida Kahlo High School in 2013, and is now a graphic design student at Los Angeles City College. He was the Summer 2015 Getty Multicultural Intern responsible for designing a training handbook for teaching artists. An arts advocate and activist, his recent activities include speaking about reinventing high school for Project XQ and on the American Dream for the Re:Dream project through PBS. Beyond multiple artworxLA Advanced Programs residencies and scholarships, Alfredo has assisted creative professionals with many projects, including product development and murals.
