Guadalupe Sanchez III is a socially engaged artist. He graduated with a BFA from Otis College of Art and Design and two minors in Art Education and Community Engagement. He is currently a teacher at artworxLA, the Los Angeles County Museum of Art, and Barnsdall arts. Jose also teaches Aztec Dance and spearheads the arts programing at Culver/Slauson Recreation park while serving on the Park Advisory Board. His primary goal as a community member/artist is to bridge the gap between theory and praxis in regard to biopsychosocial relations in an engaging and practical way for people outside the academic world.
