Thank You Shelby Williams-Gonazalez For 8 Years of Support

With joy and sadness, we announce that Shelby Williams-Gonzalez will be departing artworxLA to pursue future career endeavors. Inspired by the strength she found in the arts, Shelby will continue to support Los Angeles' art community as she joins Arts for LA's staff as their new Director of Programs.

We congratulate Shelby for her eight years of supporting our artistic programs.

After joining artworxLA as a Teaching Artist in 2008, Shelby utilized her 13 years of experience in the arts to brighten the lives of artworxLA students across Los Angeles County. Shelby was promoted to Artistic Director for artworxLA in 2012. Eager to build her skills as a leader in the arts community, Shelby participated in the Durfee LEAD Program and participated in a residency at the Downtown Woman’s Center.
