Summer of Art courses are taught by award-winning instructors who are practicing professionals, many of whom teach in Otis' BFA and MFA programs. Contact with these instructors provides a glimpse into the working lives of professional artists and designers and introduces students to many career choices in art, design and related fields. Students and their instructors select their best work for a final exhibition. All resident students participate in organized evening and weekend activities such as beach trips, variety shows, museum visits, and dances. Students receive 2 units of college credit for Specialization courses and 1 unit of college credit for Foundation Studio Courses.
