DMAA is a continuation high school that offers credit recovery, daily arts workshops for every student, hands-on learning in a safe environment, a small learning community with caring staff, and personalized goals with a path to the future.

CTE (Career Technical Education) classes at DMAA offer a Production & Managerial Arts Pathway to more possibilities and better opportunities in arts, media, and entertainment.

  • Two yearlong courses in Video Production

  • Technical training and practical experiences in the production of film, video, and new media projects for business and entertainment

  • Extended learning opportunities with artworxLA and LATTC

  • Work-based learning like visits with creative professionals, internships, and job shadowing

  • Learn to use industry-standard software for video and audio post-production, including certification in Adobe Premiere.
