Design + Media Arts Academy Launches

We just launched our newest endeavor to combat the high school dropout crisis. We celebrate the opening of our new Design + Media Arts Academy at Central Continuation High School/CDS, a partnership between artworxLA and LAUSD. 

A Partnership between artworxLA and LAUSD, this new academy will provide hands-on creative career training and educational courses to connect our students to career choices after graduation. The Design + Media Arts Academy provides students with 8-hours of artistic immersion, where they are learning transferable skills in film production, graphic design, visual arts, and animation. In addition to workshops that focus on digital content, students will learn 21st-Century skills through interactive speaking engagements with professional artists and creative industry professionals.
