2015 Board and Staff Retreat

artworxLA staff and board met at the gorgeous Getty Research Institute (GRI) on Friday, June 13, 2015, to engage in a day-long retreat. Through group discussion and breakout sessions, we reflected on our 23-year history and envisioned the organization's future. The retreat was facilitated by Beth Farb, who led our board staff retreat in 2011. We'd like to especially thank artworxLA Board Member Frances Terpak, Curator of Photographs at The Getty Research Institute, for hosting the retreat at GRI. Executive Director Cynthia Campoy Brophy stated, "It was wonderfully inspiring to spend the day at the GRI with our dedicated board and staff to reflect, strategize, imagine artworxLA's next steps!"
