This spring, artworxLA students explored the Autry Museum of the American West’s special exhibition Waterways and learned about Indigenous perspectives on water, traditional ecological knowledge, and our interdependent relationships with the natural environment. Join students from over 10 different high schools at this pop-up event as they share strategies for becoming water protectors through projects in visual arts, performance, and video.
Parking: Parking is always free at 4700 Western Heritage Way, directly in front of the Autry. Overflow parking is available across from the Autry in the L.A. Zoo lot.
Student presentations will begin at 11:30am in the Wells Fargo Theater. Arriving earlier? Stop by the artworxLA table for access to the Autry exhibitions, celebrate student art in the outdoor courtyard, and participate in a silk screen printing demonstration.
