artworxLA Scholarship Students Present at CAPSA Culmination

On July 12th, artworxLA scholarship students joined CalArts for their CAP Culmination exhibition at Ramon Cortines School of Visual and Performing Arts in downtown Los Angeles. This unique event displayed the amazing works that CAP participants created during their 2-3 week art intensive programs. Participants were led by the world-renowned faculty of CalArts and CalArts student instructors. During the Culmination ceremony, Erick an artworxLA student from Culver Park HS, shared his talents in creative writing, while Chris a student from the HMAA amazed the audience with a guitar solo and a group performance.  We at artworxLA congratulate Erick and Chris for their participation in this unique exhibition. We also thank CalArts for their efforts in developing the artistic talents of LA’s youth.
