Getty Research Institute Visit

Last week, our artworxLA Teaching Artists, classroom teachers, and program staff had the exciting opportunity to visit the Getty Research Institute (GRI). This visit enabled our staff to learn about the extensive resources that the GRI provides to our teachers, artists and staff. Our group received a tour of the Getty Research Institute's exhibit, "Connecting Seas", a viewing of their private collection, and also spent the afternoon creating cross - curricular lessons to bring back into the classroom. We would like to extend a very special thanks to our Board Member Frances Terpak, Curator of Photographs for the Getty Research Institute, for providing us with this amazing opportunity.
