artworxLA Welcome Its 2017 Summer Interns

artworxLA welcomes Brenzy Solorzano and artworxLA Alumnae Blanca Martinez, as they join us as summer interns. Brenzy is currently a Sociology major at Pasadena City College. Outside of her college, she has pioneered the Young Curators Program at Self-Help Graphics where she organized exhibitions and coordinated events that included live performances, vendors, and more. Her support for artworxLA was made possible through the Getty Multicultural Internship Program. Alumni Blanca Martinez returns as our Development and Marketing intern funded by the LACAC (Los Angeles County Arts Commission).  Blanca will be responsible for; stewardship, conducting foundation research and updating our database. She will also facilitate two LACAC peer group intern events for 11 neighboring non-profit organizations in the Silver Lake/MacArthur Park areas.
