Congratulations Lamar!

We congratulate artworxLA student Lamar for the completion of his 9-week residency with the Lucas Museum of Narrative Art and the Expo Center Teen Learning Program. This program titled "Through the Lens, Our Community Our Stories", convened teens from across Los Angeles Country to work alongside professional filmmakers to learn the process of producing documentary films from start to finish. During the residency, students built their understandings on how to conduct interviews, shoot video using film cameras, and edit video using film editing software.

We thank the Lucas Museum of Narrative Art and the Expo Center Teen Learning Program for providing this unique opportunity for teens from across the country to express their voice through the power of film.
