Brisa

Before joining artworxLA, Brisa’s interests in attended school decreased because her classes were far from home and the courses took were very dis-engaging. After taking her first artistic workshops with artworxLA Teaching Artist Maria Ramos, Brisa’s interests in school was reignited. Rising quickly at artworxLA, she has completed after school Advanced Programs courses in fashion design and she is deeply interested in attending summer scholarship programs with Otis College of Art and Design and UCLA. In these programs, she hopes to grow her talents in art in the areas of photography, filmmaking, and fashion. The experience of exploring a cross sector of artistic careers has inspired her to want to take college courses outside of the United States. Brisa one day hopes to use all of her skills to work abroad in a creative career industry.
