artworxLA Advanced Programs Manager receives CAM Fellowship

We congratulate Sol Alvarez, our Advanced Programs Manager, for being a recipient of a 2015 California Association of Museums Fellowship! Sol attended the 2015 Annual CAM Conference from February 18-20, 2015 in San Diego, California where she convened with all seven 2015 CAM Fellows, learned about current trends in museum arts education outreach efforts, and explored ways to strengthen artworxLA's Advanced Programs.

The CAM Fellows program provides meaningful networking experiences for emerging museum professionals and shares innovative ideas, model programs, and best practices with museum professionals across California. Sol will write one “case study” article for CAM’s website, with an accompanying blog post in the CA Museums Community Online, for the benefit of the California museum field. Way to go Sol!
