Mural and Raymond Visit HMAA

On February 21st, our artworxLA students interacted with two senior design artists representing the web/print design and fashion industries. Raymond Sanchez from BLKBX Creative Group is an Otis College Alumni, and currently serves as the Creative Director for BLKBX Creative Group. During his visit he shared his own personal story and how he turned his passion for design into his career. Our students also met Mural, a senior illustrator for Hybrid Apparel. Raised in San Pedro, Mural took his love for graffiti and used it to build his career. Today, Mural has used his joy for illustration to design for professionals like Tony Hawk and brands like Levis and Disney. Both artists shared their personal and professional journeys with our students, encouraging them to keep nurturing their artistic talents.
