artworxLA Thanks Our 2022-23 Interns

artworxLA is saying goodbye to our 2022-23 interns this week. Karina and Marisa were instrumental in our ability to expand our fundraising approaches and strengthen our communication strategies this year. Thank you for your hard work and dedication, Karina and Marisa. We can't wait to see all the exciting things you do next!

We are extremely grateful to the LA County Arts Internship Program (AIP) for funding these internship opportunities. artworxLA is excited to announce that the LA County Department of Arts and Culture has awarded us two new interns for 2023-2024. Stay tuned this Spring for more information on our openings for a Development Intern and a Graphic Design and Communications Intern.

This week in creativity: Self Help Graphics & Art

Our Screenprinting Residency is one of three weekly after-school residencies we offer to our Advanced Program students. This semester, Self Help Graphics & Art instructors Pavel Acevedo and Ernesto Vazquez will be guiding our students in the use of professional screenprinting equipment to create their personal designs. At the residency's conclusion, we'll be sharing our students' unique t-shirts and posters with you in a photo gallery. In the meantime, enjoy these designs created in past residencies.

Your support ensures our ability to continue to provide underserved and under-resourced students in LA County with engaging sequential arts programs. Click the button below to see how you can support artworxLA today.
