Alex Kurtzman and Marc Webb visit artworxLA

Summer blockbuster season is heating up and this past Friday our artworxLA students learned exactly how that happens. artworxLA students at the Hollywood Media Arts Academy met film writer, producer, and director Alex Kurtzman (People Like Us, co-writer Star Trek Into the Darkness, The Amazing Spider-Man 2) and Director and artworxLA Board Member Marc Webb (500 Days of Summer, The Amazing Spider-Man, and The Amazing Spider-Man 2).

Alex Kurtzman shared his creative journey as he rose from a PA on Hollywood sets to becoming the creative genius behind mega million-dollar franchises. Students shared their artwork and led Alex on a tour of the Hollywood Media Arts Academy. We would like to thank our generous board member Marc Webb for making this visit possible!
