KIMBERLY

Before joining artworxLA programming, Kimberly felt that the education she was receiving high school had no value and was only taught to pass her along to the next grade. Feeling unmotivated, she fell behind in credits and lost interest in graduating. Kimberly was able to reinvest in her education by joining artworxLA programming at Culver Park High School. After completing 2 years of artworxLA's Level 1 workshops, Kimberly decided to deepen her connection to our programs by joining our Advanced Programs courses in Leadership and Fashion Design. Kimberly is looking forward graduating this year and plans to enroll at Santa Monica College. Before attending college in the fall, Kimberly plans on joining Otis College of Art and Design’s Summer of Art scholarship program to explore fashion design.
